Oh Hello Sunshine Award

Yesterday this little space of mine was nominated for an award by Kate, a sunshine award to be exact.  Yup, you heard that right. I also had to double check a couple of times to make sure I read that right too.

I've never heard of any of these awards going around in the blogging world before, but hey, I'm not one to question anything that makes me feel loved!  Apparently all I have to do is answer some questions, which seems simple enough and plus, it gives you guys a chance to get to know me a little better.  

   

So, here they are:

1.  What made you decide to start blogging?  And how long have you been doing it?

 I've had an unhealthy obsession with reading blogs for quite some time now and I've always felt that I had a little something that I could contribute to this dot com world, so about two months ago I finally took the plunge and started my own.  Any hesitations I once had quickly disappeared, and so far it's been a great decision.

2. Do you have a blog you aspire to be like?

Any blogs that have a certain positive outlook are ones that I hope that others can see in mine too!

3.  Coke or Pepsi?

 Pepsi, but I rarely ever drink it anymore.

4. Favorite movie?

 I'm a big romantic at heart, so I'd probably say Titanic.  The Notebook is a close second, though.

5. Socks or no socks?

Socks, but I'm not just sure if I'm saying that because it's so cold here right now and I'm bundled up in a blanket.

   
6. Did you ever have braces?

I think I've hit an all time low by posting this!
You really should have seen Todd's reaction when I asked him to take a picture of my teeth! 

Can you tell?  Please say yes so my mom won't think that all her money went to waste.

7. Can you go a day without washing your hair?

 Can I go a day without washing my hair?  Bahaha!  Yup, I sure can!  I can actually go four days before it starts to look like I could be homeless, although I would never be able to push it for that long if I didn't have my trusty baby powder.

8. Do you enjoy reading? If so, do you prefer electronic or hard copy?

 I do love reading but I don't do it very often.  Every now and then I'll get an itch to read a book, so I'll sit down and plow through one in a day or two and then I'm good for another few months.

9. Do you prefer cookie dough or baked cookies?

 Baked cookies.  My all time favourite combination is a coffee and a cookie.

10. What is one thing that you would change about yourself if you could with the snap of your fingers?

 Hmm, that's tough!  I sometimes have high expectations which often leads me to get disappointed pretty easy. I am trying to work on that though, and just go with the flow a little more.
